Whenever someone compares two cars (which is silly anyway), I just make my statements based on equal drivers/transmissions and good running cars. Far too many variables to boggle the mind otherwise. Given equal trannies, equal drivers, the 300ZX NA would win nearly every time. From a stop, the 300ZX. From a roll, the 300ZX. What you said was compeltely true if you have that perfect scenario of bad driver versus good driver, etc. In fact, it would be interesting to see what this exact thread topic would look like on 3si.org :) "Don't hate the truth"? You make it sound like I was bitter or something...like the "Z can nevah lose!!1". That made me laugh =)
